Hello, and welcome to another fun year of band! I am super excited for my second year at Oxford Academy and to have another year of music making!

Please find a calendar of events at the bottom of the page. Note which events are mandatory. Not much has changed from last year.

The school will provide instruments to those interested in participating in band. However, there is the possibility your student will want an instrument of their own. While purchasing an instrument may be a great investment, many "affordable" instruments are made with poor quality, and you end up spending more to fix the instrument than you did to purchase it. This almost always includes instruments that are not the normal color it should be (ex: red, blue, etc). If you are looking to purchase an instrument for your student, please contact Miss Savasta first to discuss options. Some reputable brands include:
